Corporate killing is still legal at the moment! The Kill Bill is still being argued about, the last I read was that the government was still debating various details. There's supposed to be a draft Kill Bill before the end of the current parliamentary session, but we'll all believe that when we see it.

The DWP Select Committee has just released its report into OSH and the HSC/E; one of their recommendations to the government is that the proposed legislation on corporate manslaughter be hastened to within the life of this parliament - we'll see!

I had heard via the TUC mind you, that after recieving legal advice that ministers themselves could be prosecuted under this it was on hold once again. Apparently according to the report they may be liable if a death occurs in public services and it is traced to their funding methodology.
