Hi,
I work in Ireland as a Safety Officer, I am not familiar with UK forms so if you let me know what an 'F9' is for, I should be able to tell you if there is a similar requirement here.
Regards,
Liam

F9 is a form of notice that an employer gives to the health and safety executive in UK that occupy or intend to occupy a factory. It is a requirement under the Factories Act.
Copy available at https://www.hse.gov.uk/forms/notification/f9.pdf
The equivalent for offices shops and railway premises is OSR1, found at;
https://www.hse.gov.uk/forms/notification/osr1.pdf
North of Ireland
There is a similar requirement in the North of Ireland under the Factories Act (NI) it is called NI9 copy available at;
http://www.hseni.gov.uk/pdfs/NI9.pdf
I haven't head or been able to find whether there are equivalent requirements in the south of the island.
Regards
Ciaran

Hi,
I have never come across a requirement for the occupation of shop premsis like that. The only thing similar is an IR1 form which is used only for a construction site where construction will last over 30 days or 500 man days etc., this of course would not apply to the original poster unless it is a new shop under construction. Even then it would be the PSCS that would notify the HSA.
Regards,
Liam
