Posted By Paul Leadbetter Gerry All woods are different and I doubt that you will find an MSDS which will cover all hardwoods. Have you seen HSE Woodworking Sheet 30 on toxic woods? Paul

Posted By Jeff Manion There is a document "critical assessments of the evidence for agents implicated in occupational asthma" Section C - considers some hard wood dusts meet the new EU criteria, revised in 1006 for classification as a respiratory sentiser (a cause of asthma) and labelling with R42. Therefore treat as R42 May cause sensitisation by inhalation R42/R43 May cause sensitisation by inhalation and skin contact Jeff Manion
