Posted By Smurfer In effect, the peak level will be reduced. in addition to the action levels of 80 and 85 dB(A) expressed as 8hr TWA, there will be two corresponding peak action levels of 135 and 137 dB(C). Thus where the peak level exceeds the upper action level of 137dB(C) hearing protection will be mandatory regardless of the 8hr TWA. Andy
