Posted By Jasonjg Don’t know what to call it really. I needed to show a level of training throughout a company within two months. Sat down thought about it and then realised how hard it is without a fancy software package. Anyway I have played all night with excel and come up with what I think is a nice little tool that can be changed to suit ones needs. To get the most from this concept, you will need basic excel skills or access to someone who has. It enables you to add a subject i.e. fire training. You then choose if an employee requires this knowledge to do his job safely. You then choose if he is not trained, in training or trained. Calculations are done and percentages are shown. Can be done so company can show its competency levels in a more in-depth way. It’s a beauty (I think so anyway) Will impress any external auditer lol Please email me and I will send you the first copy

Posted By Steven Armstrong I would be more than happy to take a copy so that I can pass it on to the companies we deal with. They can all use a simple and thought out tool for recording. Email to steve.armstrong@ncsg.co.uk

Posted By DaveT Thanks for the calculator. It works a treat. The calculator could be adapted for all sorts of applications. i.e. health and safety issues ongoing, completed, pending etc. Complaints and stages to completion. the list could be endless. Jason well done. Wish I was as competent in excel. DAVE

Posted By Jasonjg Just woke up Cleared my inbox and sent all you a copy. Remember this training tool can also be adapted to show performance in other areas. A basic knowledge of excel and a bit of imagination go a long way. Have fun Jason

Posted By Jasonjg Well after dealing with almost 200 email requests this and almost 150 for the accident I suspect some of you will find a good use for these tools. What are your main struggling points with safety KPIs? Next tool will be similar to this but should help deal with culture. Stay tuned If you are wondering why I am not making trying to make money, it is simply this, Next year I plan to make my long deserved pay packet but until then it is good to do some market and product research. Best regards all Jason
