Posted By PETER GANNAWAY I am looking for organisations who are competent to conduct Workplace Traffic Surveys. The issue revolves around sites whos traffic flow has changed substantially in terms of vehicle size and usage since the site was laid out 40+ years. We have been introducing incremental changes but feel it is now time for a fundemental re-appraisal. I have seen the info available on the HSE website and will ensure we are applying the guidance, but it would be good to have a contact if I feel we need to consult further.

Posted By Jenny Collis Hi Peter There are a number of consultancies out there that undertake this work for local authorities in London. Mouchel Parkman is one of them that I have heard about although I have no personal experience with them myself as I am not involved in this sort of area. Douglas Blankson is the Team Leader of Road Safety Engineering at their Sidcup Office. Hope that helps Jenny

Posted By Charley Farley-Trelawney Peter I can recommend an excellent company of consulting engineers who would be more than acceptable for what you need. They are in the SW of the country. They have just completed a major survey for me over several miles of unadopted highways and I am extremely satisfied, if you would like names etc do contact me directly. Charley
