Could anyone please send me a scaffold method statement as I dont know where to start.
This is so I can get a better understanding of some of the issues involved

Hi Peter,

I think the simple answer here is that Scaffold needs to be erected by a competent/ trained scaffolder and is subject to a specific inspection regime where the scaffold is inspected by a competent person who has attended a prescribed course.

There is a Code of Practice governing the erection and management of scaffolding which should be observed.
