Hello all,
I have just been notified that one of our Merchandising staff is pregnant. I have carried out a risk assessment and covered such things as Manual Handling, Driving hours, Lone Working, Fatigue. Is there anything I have possibly missed, am I barking up totally the wrong tree?
Any help greatly appreciated
Many thanks
Richard

Other things which may be pertinent are:
Shiftwork, overtime, long hours?
Flying as a passenger on company business?
Standing/sitting for long periods?
Working with the public?
Home working?
also review regularly

Hi Richard,
HSE has published guidance on this HSG122 but most of the essentials are covered in the FAQs on their website.

Hi
Balance, your body changes shape, so any use of hop on's or ladders etc needs to be considered in the RA. Also consider as her body temperature increases, she may need more frequent access to drinking water, otherwise constipation could occur.
Regards
Linda.
