Posted By DJ The Corporate Manslaughter Bill It is still a Draft Bill and still highly unlikely to become law, not that it will make much difference if it ever does get on to the statute books. As far as I am aware, the inquiry is still "consulting". Regards. DJ

Posted By Charley Farley-Trelawney I was under the impression that the consultation process was to be complete by the end of June and that proposed changes would be out shortly after. I suppose when all is said and done, this bill, if it ever arrives, is going to be a much watered down affair than what was ever intended. CFT

Posted By Patrick Burns CMIOSH - SpDipEM - MIQA No doubt there will be an enquiry into what happened to the enquiry. The consultation will focus on an investigation as to why there had to be an enquiry into the enquiry. By the time they get this information together they will have again run out of time to get the Draft Bill into the Bill required to go for approval during this current Government Office. This will delay the whole process so long that there will then need to be another enquiry, 'and so the boat goes round the buoy again.'
