Hi Folks,
Is there a recommended minimum frequency for cleaning the grease out of kitchen extractor ducting; and if so, where does the recommendation originate? I know they have to be cleaned out (Heathrow terminal fire), its just a question of how often. I'm talking care home/small hospital kitchens,
John

At least once a year; more frequently if required.

Funny you should mention that as our local chippy had an extractor fire the other day and nearly lost her business if it wssnt for the quick reaction of the Fire Brigade
