'Suitable and Sufficient'. (Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order) 2005

Hi all,
Could somebody clarify what the 'suitable and sufficient' assessment of risks would be in respect of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order? (Part 2 Paragraph 9)
I have got the definition in the Management Regs and would assume that it would mirror this. However we all know that we should not assume so I would be grateful for something more specific.

I suspect the 'suitable and sufficient' is deliberately vague; it will always be subjective. The term is akin to the more familar 'reasonably practicable'. As I commented on another thread concerning the RRFSO, the level of competency must be proportionate to the risk. If not, there will be a glut of fire safety consultants in the near future!
Regards
Ray
