Posted By Malcolm Hogarth Hi all, Could somebody clarify what the 'suitable and sufficient' assessment of risks would be in respect of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order? (Part 2 Paragraph 9) I have got the definition in the Management Regs and would assume that it would mirror this. However we all know that we should not assume so I would be grateful for something more specific. Malcolm

Posted By Raymond Rapp Malcolm I suspect the 'suitable and sufficient' is deliberately vague; it will always be subjective. The term is akin to the more familar 'reasonably practicable'. As I commented on another thread concerning the RRFSO, the level of competency must be proportionate to the risk. If not, there will be a glut of fire safety consultants in the near future!
