I have attended this course and it covers the RR(FS)O and provides a method of carrying out a fire risk assessment and completing a report based around the recommendations of PAS79. The course is based in Northern Ireland and cost approximately £400 for 4 days. By the time you have added other costs i.e flights, hotels, subsistence etc then you are probably up to £1000 in total. It is the only course that is recognised by the IFE. It is a fairly in depth course so you do need a reasonable understanding of fire to keep up with it. When I did it there were 10 persons ranging from senior fire officers and H&S managers to fire consultants.
