Are First aid at work certificates still valid for three years. I say they are two safety reps are telling me the ACoP has changed and it is now 2 years. My understanding is this was a recommendation drawn from the consultation on amending the regs but was not acted upon.
All help gratefully received.

Hi, There is a change happening to HSE FAW courses.
Basically it will become a 3 day course and not 4, certificates still for 3 years (no change) but there will be a annual refresher course (3 hr) if you do not refresh then the full certificate becomes invalid.
See http://www.fwc-uk.com/ne...d%20Update_June%2006.pdf for further details.
Hope this helps
Gus

What a pain this is going to be. But no doubt a nice little earner for those who provide the training.
