Would i be right in saying that emergency escape lighting in an office area should be fully checked at least annually?

In the middle of a FRA.

Cheers

Emergency lighting should be checked monthly, 3 monthly for 1 hour and at 6 months it should have a 3 hour test.

Monthly – flick test
Annually – full duration test

BS 5266 part 8: 2004

There is no longer a requirement for 6 monthly tests and the full duration test depends on the batteries used. Some are 3 hours some are only 1 hour.
