Posted By Robert K Lewis The minimum height is actually 2.7 metres as I understand it. This is to ensure that almost all people cannot reach it - other than the "giants" among us that is.
You need also to display adequate warning signs of the material. But I cannot give reference I am afraid as I cannot remeber where I read it now - it was some 15 years ago.
