Posted By Nick H A spillage of floculant powder folowing vadalisam of a wagon, resulted in a 8 hour road closure.
The road was closed to allow a thorough clean up as the powder becomes slippery when wet. The police were informed and involved with the road closure.
A fellow advisor has informed me that because the road was closed for over 3 hours, that this matter now becomes reportable. I am not able to contact the person who informed me of this and can find no information relating to such a requirement.
Has anyone out there dealt with this issue before? Any information would be appreciated.

Posted By Dave Merchant Talk to your local council highways department (or the Highways Agency if it was a motorway) - they'll be able to give you the info you need.
