In short, every enclosed workplace must be ventilated by a sufficient quantity of fresh or purified air. Posted By Bob Shillabeer Just hold on a minute. All you have said is your employer wants to establish a cabin inside a bigger warehouse to use as an office. There are no legal reasons not to allow such a building as far as I am aware. Provided there is adequate lighting available and the dimensions of the building are adequate I see no reason why not. It would be better to have windows in the internal cabin to ensble the air to move better, but this could result in the noise levels being too high depending on the type of warehouse you are refering to. Remember there are many places where an internal building is used as office space especially where the main activity is rather noisy. To talk about external ventaiation systems is way over the top for a general office use room. Why not try and convince your employer to convert one side of the outter building into one wall (the external one that is) of the new room?
