If using a piece of equipment such as a Cherrypicker then the answer is no. If using a scaffold the answer could be YES depending on the precise nature of the scaffold - you need to talk to your scaffolder on this remebering you need BS EN12811(hope thats the roght number) or TG20 if it is tube and fitting. Scaffolds are structures under CDM definitions. In general terms I still prefer to reserve the term temporary works for structures erected temporarily that are load bearing in some way eg Temporary Ground support, Temporary formworks, Temporary structure shoring/support etc. Bob
