Paul The IoM has CDM Regulations, albeit that they currently mirror the UK former 1994 version. So the Planning Supervisor is referred to as one of the dutyholders. Peter has provided you with the Department of Local Government and the Environment (DoLGE) website so that you can access the regulations which came into effect in the IoM in October 2004. There is a draft document due to be issued for consultation after next month which is based on UK CDM 2007. The major difference between the proposed IoM version and that of the UK will be part 4 whereby we will have the opportunity to revoke our existing 1985 Construction Health and Safety Regulations and subsume salient self regulating legislation relating to work at height, excavations and transport topics.
