Hello,
I am currently working on a construction project where dust exposure is constant. The rock is being pulverised and conveyed by a dump truck. We are working approximately 100 metres away from the event. Are we exposed to silica crystalline dust? And sure, KN95 masks are helpful for providing employees with PPE.
Our company is not interested in purchasing a device for air monitoring or sampling.

If your company refuses to measure it, you can't tell, can you? (unless the exposure is so great that it is obvious)
It may not be necessary to buy a device. You could hire an industrial hygienist to use their own equipment. But, I expect, your company won't want to do that, either.

Mention of KN95 masks indicates possible activity beyond UK shores meaning the majority of posters on here could provide inaccurate guidance for the workplace locale as dust masks are more commonly referred to as FFP*. irshad where is the work site?
