Does anybody have any experience working with electrical rules associated with the isolation of electric vehicles (DV voltage, Lithium Iron Batteries) in general or items of mobile plant (excavators etc)

Probably the manner in which your post has been worded which can be answered with a straight yes or no.

There is a bit of advice in HSE for Motor Vehicle Repair:

https://www.hse.gov.uk/mvr/topics/electric-hybrid.htm

Fire Industries Association

Some insurers have advice

The supplier / manufacturer should be able to provide information relevant to their specific vehicles.
