Posted By Kevin McAleer Why not get yourself trained as Manual Handling Instructor. That way you can teach your staff, a. at a fraction of the cost of hiring in. b. Help your own personal development. c. The Train the Trainer Course is only three days long. I am sure you have a local Further Education Centre close by, once you have completed the course you can design the training around your own workplace conditions. Regards Kevin

Posted By Paul L Williams Simon, I'd also like to recommend Pristine Condition. Not only do they undertake the training in the working environment they set up safe systems of work and train a support team. All their trainers have backgrounds in lifting and sports related work, with the owner Dave Snowdon being a former Olympic weightlifter and world record holder. They also act promptly following any civil claims that may arise. Helping in the investigation to establish whether the handling injury was possible or whether the individual breach their own duty by not following the SSOW. Pristine Condition Ltd 156 Reading Road Henley on Thames Oxon RG9 1EA Tel: 01491 414464 Fax: 01491 414465 Email: info@pristinecondition.com Cheers Paul Williams
